How Binary MLM Software Works

Left Leg / Right Leg Structure

Every distributor in a binary plan has exactly two positions directly below them: a left leg and a right leg. They can personally sponsor more people, but new recruits spill into the next available position in the tree. This spillover fills the downline automatically and is a key reason binary plans spread fast — upline sponsors benefit from the growth their downline drives on both legs.

Pair Matching & Commission Calculation

At the end of each pay cycle (daily, weekly or monthly), the software compares the sales volume on the left and right legs of every distributor. A “pair” is matched on the weaker leg — so if you have 1,000 points left and 700 right, 700 pairs are matched and you earn a commission on 700. The remaining 300 left-leg volume carries forward to the next cycle. The matching ratio (1:1, 2:1, 1:2 and custom ratios) is fully configurable per your plan.

Capping — Maximum Earnings per Cycle

Capping limits how much a single distributor can earn in one pay cycle. It protects the business from runaway payouts when a top distributor’s downline generates massive volume. Capping is typically set per rank — Silver, Gold, Platinum — and we configure each rank’s cap separately. Without correct capping logic, a successful launch can bankrupt the business in weeks.

Carry-Forward & Volume Flushing

Unmatched volume on the stronger leg rolls forward to the next pay cycle. Flushing removes volume that has not been matched within a defined number of cycles (e.g., 30 or 60 days). Both carry-forward and flushing rules vary significantly across binary plans — we implement your exact policy, not a generic default.

Matching Bonus & Rank Rewards

Beyond pair commissions, most binary plans include a matching bonus paid to a distributor’s upline sponsors — typically 5–20% of the direct recruit’s pair commission, for 3–5 levels up. Rank advancement rewards (cash bonuses, travel awards, car fund) are also automated based on cumulative volume milestones.

Binary Plan Variations

Power Leg / Weak Leg — one leg is pre-loaded with spillover from the sponsor’s network to give new distributors a head start. Australian Binary — an unlimited-width variant where distributors can have more than two direct positions, reducing spillover dilution. Single Leg / Power Leg Only — all members join one leg, volume pools sitewide. We support all variants.
